WebCT is now decommissioned

In September 2009, WebCT was no longer offered as part of the Centre for Leadership in Learning's (CLL) teaching technology services, however the CLL continued to keep the server running for faculty and support staff who needed to access material from 2008-2009 courses.

On April 15, 2010, the CLL sent out a notice of the May 14, 2010 decommissioning of WebCT and all WebCT support and services. The note encouraged all users requiring material from WebCT to retrieve them prior to the May 14, 2010 decommissioning date as all courses and materials would no longer be available after this date.

As of May 14, 2010, WebCT has been decommissioned and is closed to any user access. The CLL will no longer be providing any WebCT support or services.

The CLL wishes to continue to accommodate your teaching and learning needs and we invite you to visit the Teaching Technologies page on the CLL website (http://cll.mcmaster.ca/teaching_technologies.html) where we offer a myriad of Teaching Technologies. We will be launching a new learning management system, Desire 2 Learn for Fall 2010.  Details on training and course requests will be available in June.  If you are not sure which technology is best suited to your teaching objectives, the CLL also has knowledgeable staff readily available for educational consulting, technological and otherwise.
